The FPIES University Video Library Offers New Educational Resources

International FPIES Association launches multi-functional electronic platform with FREE video content for patients and caregivers and healthcare providers

The International FPIES Association (I-FPIES), the leading nonprofit organization representing patients and families living with Food Protein-Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome (FPIES), has launched the FPIES University Video Library (, a resource featuring dozens of free videos on FPIES and related topics for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

FPIES University is a comprehensive, multi-functional electronic platform featuring a range of educational topics, clinical and practical guidance for navigating an FPIES diagnosis, research updates, and more. The plan is for FPIES University to grow over time with additional content added on an ongoing basis.

I-FPIES has worked with our esteemed Medical Advisory Board and other experts to develop this series of pre-recorded segments, designed to offer reliable, accessible education about FPIES to two audiences: 1. FPIES patients, families, and caregivers, and 2. Healthcare providers. Each audience has its own FPIES University platform where they can set up a FREE login account with unlimited access to videos on that platform.

The FPIES University Video Library features videos on the following topic areas:

  • FPIES for the Newly Diagnosed
  • Understanding FPIES
  • Adult FPIES
  • FPIES and Other Conditions
  • Feeding and Nutrition
  • Cooking and Shopping with FPIES
  • Travel with FPIES
  • Social and Emotional Aspects of FPIES
  • Educating Others About FPIES
  • Research Updates
  • News and Updates from the International FPIES Association

“Since 2011, I-FPIES has been a leader in presenting credible information about FPIES in an accessible way,” shares I-FPIES Founder and President Fallon Matney. “Video has become widely recognized as a powerful teaching tool for individuals with all levels of medical knowledge. FPIES University has special significance for FPIES families because video allows those who might not otherwise have access to hear directly from the leading FPIES experts.”
