FPIES Added to CoFAR Scope of Research

Huge news! FPIES has been officially added to the scope of research for the Consortium for Food Allergy Research (CoFAR), which conducts clinical research in the areas of prevention and treatment of food-induced allergic conditions. This paves the way for additional research funding and accelerates our efforts to identify a biomarker, diagnostic, and treatment for FPIES.

The International FPIES Association thanks the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) for their partnership. This news is another result of the NIAID Food Protein-induced Enterocolitis Syndrome (FPIES) Workshop held last June and facilitated by the International FPIES Association.

We also thank our IFPIES Medical Advisory Board for its efforts in shaping the future of FPIES research. And finally, we’re grateful for the support of our FPIES community for inspiring and supporting these efforts. We did it, together!
